Hello everyone! I hope you're all doing well! In these trying times, we're all doing our best to maintain our sanity and keep busy. Video lessons have been in the back of my mind for quite some time now, but as they say... Necessity is the mother of invention. Ok, so I didnt' INVENT video lessons... but being cooped up in my house has put the fire under me to get this branch of my business going.

I have multiple video platforms... Face Time, Zoom, and Skype. And as always, I can accept payment through Venmo, Zelle, or PayPal. Unfortunately, I'm not super experienced in any of those platforms, so there is certainly a learning curve associated with doing lessons this way. However, I'm willing to try if you are.

Here are the main differences:

1. Students must control the karaoke tracks from their end. There is a delay in the audio, so unfortunately, I cannot control the music because it will not sync up with what the student is doing.

2. Warm-ups can be a little funky, especially for new students who are unfamiliar with the warm-ups I do in lessons. Because of this, I have recorded a few of my usual warm up exercises and can either text or email them to you. The student would then play the warm-up on their end and sing along. I may stop you or ask you to redo a particular section to work on it. But again, the student must control the "music".

Lessons are set up the same way as usual. For now, I have adapted my scheduling app to only accommodate remote lessons, so please feel free to schedule a lesson that works for you.

Thanks for checking in. Thanks for your patience. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to send me a message via this website, email, or text.

Take care of yourself and each other.

Ms. Heather
