So many updates!!

Hey everyone! Man, life sure gets crazy sometimes! Since I last posted a blog entry, much has happened. First of all, my barbershop chorus, South Florida Jubilee, went to Daytona and kicked some booty in contest! We came in one point shy of 5th place out of 18(? I think it was 18... it's been a while) choruses. Regardless, we had an amazing time and we all performed really well. What a fantastic opportunity and an ever-expanding sisterhood of musicians!

Secondly, there was a whole summer in there that I didn't get around to sharing about. Summer camp keeps me so busy that I barely had time to eat or shower! Ha ha! I'm only partially kidding... Regardless, I am so proud of all my students. They are so talented and they work so hard. I am continually impressed with the calibur of show we are able to achieve in only four weeks time! My heart practically bursts with pride every time I see them just owning it on stage and doing what they love! It truly is one of my most favorite things in the entire world to watch someone do exactly what makes them happy!

Anyway, summer is over now and it's time to get back to my regularly scheduled program. Hope your summer was as filled with music as mine was!
