I'm doing a thing...

Yesterday I began rehearsals for "Dorothy Meets Alice" or "The Wizard of Wonderland" and I am elated to be playing the Red Queen of Hearts!!!

This show is part of the Broward Center and Performance Project collaborative mentor program. There are three adult professional actors, myself included, in the show along side several children and teens. Not only will we be acting with them, but we're also there to help them learn the ropes of the acting business. It's a step above acting with only their peers, and there's so much for them to learn!

I am so proud and excited to be a part of yet another show with this mentor program. Aside from helping the kids become better actors, I learn how to be a better teacher, role model, and actor myself! It's a win-win considering my favorite things to do are perform and teach.
